Musical show within the framework of the Garriga Modernist Days.

During the 12th and 13th centuries, minstrels were in charge of interpreting the works written by the troubadours. They toured the various courts, squares and palaces of the kingdoms to sing the verses of the most acclaimed epic and lyrical compositions of their time.

If Verdaguer—the pinnacle of poetry and the Catalan language—is the troubadour, he will be the minstrel who spreads his verses by immersing himself in his more austere, more intimate and genuine project.

With the sole accompaniment of voice and classical guitar, he will interpret the work 'Verdaguer, ombres i maduixes' in its entirety, which OBESES published in 2017.

An absolute turn of the score with a complete new arrangement that will search for the essence of the
meeting between music and poetry. All the pieces of the play, all the characters and all Verdaguer's verses will be combined in the Minstrel's song that will rescue from oblivion this archaic and precious way of telling stories.

Jacint Verdaguer, pinnacle of poetry and the Catalan language, used to stay at the Balneari Blancafort where he met with other intellectuals of the time. Enjoying his work will allow us to move to a time when the Garriga was a meeting point for modernism.
