Carnival events begin with the workshop of the Carnival King and will culminate with the grand parade on Saturday, February 14.

The Carnival parade in La Garriga will be on February 14 and will start at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Teatre de la Garriga, El Patronat. It will continue along the Passeig, the streets of Vinyals, Banys, Figueral, Nostra Sra. de la Salut, Plaça de les Oliveres, Cardedeu, Sant Ramon and Calàbria and will end in Plaça de l'Església, where the prizes will be awarded.

This Friday, February 6, at 4:30 p.m., Can Raspall will host the presentation of the workshop and the first meeting for people who want to make their own Modernist dress.

After the presentation, the workshop will begin with a talk about the clothing of the period.

The workshop will take place from February to March, every Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from April to October, every Friday, except July and August.

The guerrillas will be the common thread this year in the commemoration of the bombing of the municipality.

Once again, La Garriga is reclaiming historical memory with the commemoration of the bombing that hit the municipality in 1939.

The works that will affect Onze de Setembre, both for pedestrians and vehicles, will begin this January.

This January, ADIF is carrying out work on the bridge on Avinguda Onze de Setembre, which will restrict vehicle traffic on the avenue for between 2 and 4 days, starting on January 19.
