From the times when Garriga was an agricultural town and families raised cattle at home to provide themselves with meat for the whole year, "botifarra" (sausages) and "llonganisses", were one of the main preparations which were made during the slaughter of the pig and which allowed the pantry to be filled throughout the year.
Restaurants, hostels and inns popularized them, currently being a product of great tradition and quality.
You can find "botifarra" white, black, pear, mushroom, roasted .. Also raw sausage ready to be cooked.
The Garriga butcheries are registered under the Collective Brand, which guarantees a high-quality sausage, produced in an artisanal and traditional way, with natural products and without additives, which makes it possible to offer a high-quality product, with the traditional flavor that characterizes.
