Screening+Discussion on the topic "Autism in cinema: reality and fiction"

Organized by: Cinema Alhambra and Autisme la Garriga

Wolfgang, a ten-year-old boy with an IQ of 152 and autism spectrum disorder, is forced to live with his father, Carles, whom he has never seen, after the sudden death of his mother. Carles faces the challenge with enthusiasm and will, but Wolfgang cannot stand the disorder or disorganization and considers him a "low-life" for his lack of intellect. So, secretly, Wolfgang plans to achieve his dream: to enter the Grimald music academy in Paris, where his mother studied, and become the best pianist in the world. When Carles finds out, he has to decide between his great opportunity as an actor or becoming the father that a child like Wolfgang needs.
