This year, the Mitja will not pass through the Passeig, as usual, but will travel through the streets of the city center.
The "La Mitja" Sports Association is organizing the 39th edition of the Granollers, Les Franqueses and La Garriga International Half Marathon, which will take place on the morning of March 2nd and, as a novelty this year, has a change of route as it passes through La Garriga.
Thus, "la Mitja" will not pass through the Passeig, as usual.
In this edition, "la Mitja" will arrive in La Garriga via the old N152z, traveling through the municipality via Banys, Centre, Calàbria, Nova Road, Figaró, Sant Francesc, Ametlla Road, Nova Road and the old N152z to return to Granollers.
Vehicle traffic will be restricted along the entire race route and on the streets around 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Residents in the eastern area will be able to leave the municipality via Carril-c. Bonaire. From ctra de Vic, ctra Nova can be accessed via c. Can Noguera and c. Imprempta in a southerly direction.
Regarding parking, on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., parking will not be allowed in the loading and unloading area of c. Banys between Rosselló and Ametlla, in the area of c. Calàbria-Ctra Nova and on the left side of c. Figaró. In the rest of the streets along the route, parking will be allowed but vehicles will not be allowed to move during the entire time slot.
