Under the title 'Something more than stones', the 11th edition of Heritage Interpretation training organized by the La Garriga City Council is coming.
The course will last 16 hours, spread over the mornings and afternoons of the 5th and 6th (Thursday and Friday) of November 2026, and will be held, basically, in the multipurpose room of Can Luna. It will be taught by Juanjo Suárez, member of the Association for Heritage Interpretation, and head of Heritage Consulting.
This course aims to be a theoretical-practical training activity that provides resources and communication means to transmit the meanings that the geological heritage of any place has, to a general non-specialized public.
It is aimed at staff linked to the Garriguen tourism and heritage management itself and is also especially interesting for various professionals who are related to the management of natural and cultural heritage, as well as staff who manage places with protected or non-protected heritage value, tourism professionals from public and private entities, tour guides, interpretive guides, staff from museums and interpretation centres or other people interested in communicating with the visiting public at places of heritage interest.
Registrations will open on September 21. Limited places!
