"Ladrillo portante de celda circular" focuses on two of the most heartbreaking and cruel issues of the Colombian armed conflict: forced displacement (people forced to emigrate within the national territory) and extrajudicial executions or false positives (murder of innocent civilians by the army, passing them off as guerrillas or criminals, with the aim of receiving awards or recognition from the state). How can theatre be a space for reflection without falling into cliché? How is it possible to stage loss, agony or violence? How can the internal armed conflict of one country resonate in the reality of others? How has indifference made us lose the ability to be moved?... These are the key questions from which the show has been raised, which aims to bring closer, through text and music, and with a reading of genre, a history of violence, injustice and misery... The history of the Colombian armed conflict, which is, at the same time, the history of so many other conflicts, historical and current, in our world.
