This Sunday, September 7, a new edition of the La Garriga Street Shop is being held.

During Sunday, the commercial area of ​​La Garriga will be filled with products from businesses associated with ASIC, with the best offers.

In addition, there will be workshops and activities designed for all audiences.

Càritas la Garriga will distribute the Festa Major solidarity scarves to collect donations.

The Festa Major scarves can be found, in exchange for a donation, at the stall that Càritas is setting up on Carrer del Centre.

It will be there on these days and times:

• July 26, at the market, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• July 31 and August 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

While the Festa Major lasts, the holding of some events will affect vehicle traffic and parking in certain parts of the municipality.

Another Festa Major, the Espai Nits la Doma will gather the best rhythms to offer concerts and parties for all tastes, the three nights of celebration.

Thursday we will start with the Festa Flaixbac, which will give way to a night of “barraques”, in which the leading role will be played by the entities that set up bars and where the party will last until 5 in the morning.

The theater bar hosts an exhibition that invites us to reflect on the effects of climate change on freshwater ecosystems and its link to women.

The exhibition "Augmented Ecofeminimes: Climate, Water, Women" can be visited from July 14 to 27 at the bar of the Teatre de la Garriga, El Patronat.

The exhibition, jointly organized by the Environment and Equality departments of the City Council, invites us to stop and reflect on the effects of climate change on freshwater ecosystems and its deep link with women.
