The International Short Film Festival is coming to La Garriga.

The Meu Primer Festival is an international film festival for boys and girls between 2 and 12 years of age, which aims to contribute to the dissemination of plural and creative cinema, while offering a sample of cinematographic creations from around the world and of all time With the aim of entertaining and educating, stimulating imagination and creativity, and awakening the critical spirit.

It is a festival that wants to be a window for the exhibition of unpublished works or works that are difficult to see on commercial screens, but also a space for participation and dialogue where children are the real protagonists: an audience that sees, thinks, thinks, questions , vote, create... A showcase of contemporary creation in terms of cinema for children, but it also wants to contribute to the education of the cinematographic gaze and the learning of the history of cinema.

The Meu Primer Festival is a project of the MODIband Cultural Association, an organization that regularly collaborates in children's film programming for cultural institutions such as the Filmoteca de Catalunya, the Filmoteca Española, CaixaForum, La Casa Encendida and the network of Civic Centers of Barcelona, ​​among others.
