On Monday, February 9, the signing of the Budapest Declaration 2025 was formalized, a commitment that was acquired by representatives of the European Association of Historic Thermal Towns (EHTTA) with the aim of marking a firm commitment to the protection of thermal heritage, the involvement of local communities and the promotion of thermal tourism as a public good.

The signing ceremony was held by the mayor of La Garriga, Meritxell Budó, and the president of the Association of Thermal Towns of Catalonia, Isidre Pineda.
