As a student of folk music, Alba Carmona has moved for years between the sounds of different popular musics and modern music. With flamenco training from the Esmuc and with the Superior Degree in Music as a flamenco singer, the Catalan singer has performed on countless stages around the world and has recorded albums with artists with whom she has never stopped learning and sharing, such as Perico Sambeat, Carlos Saura, Chano Domínguez, Mauricio Sotelo or Miguel Poveda. After her time with the band Las Migas, in 2018 she decided to make the leap as a solo performer and, at the end of this same year, she released her first album as a soloist, which includes songs that the singer herself has composed.

In this intimate format, Alba forms a duo with guitarist Jesús Guerrero, one of the most important figures in current flamenco guitar and a regular accompanist of artists such as Miguel Poveda, Niña Pastori or Carmen Linares.

The rawest sounds of the flamenco voice and guitar play with delicacy and virtuosity when performing a varied repertoire that combines traditional flamenco songs with their own themes and versions of Chavela Vargas, Lluís Llach, Carlos Cano and Leonard Cohen, among others.
