The Visitor Center has also obtained, once again, the distinction, which guarantees the quality and sustainability of tourist services.

The City Council of La Garriga and the Visitor Center have been distinguished with the Biosphere Commitment to Sustainability for the 2025 edition, revalidating the seal they already obtained last year.

In La Garriga, the tourist rentals Sono Apartaments, Sigrada and Antic Can Poi have also received the distinction as tourist information points.

The Biosphere distinction is based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, integrated into the 2030 Agenda.

The good practices of this program refer to the areas of sustainable management, conservation and improvement of cultural heritage, environmental conservation, economic and social development, quality and safety and customer involvement.

The awarding of the distinctions took place within the framework of the TurismeVallès Conference, held this Thursday, March 19 in Vilanova del Vallès.
