The Project to duplicate the Route of the R3 Line of Rodalies between Parets and la Garriga will affect three sections of the line (Parets-Granollers, les Franqueses-la Garriga and Balenyà-Tona-Seva-Vic). The three split sections will improve reliability and slightly increase capacity and, at the same time, the frequency of trains will be increased, which will go from the current 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
During the months of October to mid-January, an alternative bus service is offered: an alternative direct service to Barcelona and a replacement service that will stop in all the towns affected by the R3 cut.
La Garriga - Barcelona service
According to ADIF, the alternative bus service that will go direct to Barcelona will operate from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday to Friday. It will leave La Garriga (from the Sínia stop) every 30 minutes, at quarter past two.
There will be between 2 and 4 four buses every half hour, according to ADIF, in order to provide the appropriate service for the number of travelers expected, counting the usual occupancy of the trains.

Barcelona - la Garriga service
As for the direct bus service from Barcelona, it will operate from 4 to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday, and will also leave from Sagrera - Meridiana every 30 minutes on the hour and quarter to two.

La Garriga - Vic service
People who want to travel to Vic can take the substitute bus service that will go from Mollet to Centelles, with stops in all the towns. In la Garriga, this bus also takes you to la Sínia. Once in Figaró, they can take the train to Vic.
According to ADIF company, the sizing of these buses has also been made based on the occupancy of the trains.

To get to la Garriga from Vic, you can take the substitute bus service to Figaró to finish getting to la Garriga.
The company has also reported that, while the cut lasts, all trains will stop at all stations on the line.
