About the Alhambra Cinema...

Built in 1913 (with a modernist façade), the venue has a hundred years of history of leisure and culture in La Garriga.

The cinema opened the Café -now defunct- in 1914. It was the venue for political gatherings, dance and theatre shows. The first screenings date back to 1928.

It is currently an old cinema, specialising in European and auteur cinema, screening original versions and Catalan cinema. An opportunity to enjoy a cinema like the ones of the past, reminiscent of the cinema of the "Cinema Paraíso".
