A survivor of the golden age of Garriguen thermalism

Between the years 1892 and 1893, up to six spa establishments operated in the Garriga. After the Blancafort Spa, the second most important were the Martí Baths, a business started in 1876 by Josep Martí. During the last decade of the 19th century, it already offered 36 rooms and was owned by Adjutori Blancafort, brother of the owner of the spa of the same name.

This spa has also survived all the vicissitudes and historical moments, although, along the way, it has been changing names. After the Civil War and run by the Jubany family, it reopened in 1943 under the name Termas Victoria, and later, at the turn of the 21st century, it took its current name.

Currently the Hotel Termes la Garriga is a 4-star Hotel: www.hoteltermeslagarriga.cat
