The City Council has issued a municipal ban informing of the ban on making bonfires and throwing rockets, since the Garriga is a municipality declared at high risk of forest fire.

The text of the ban is as follows:

Welcome fellow citizen, welcome fellow citizen,

The celebration of this summer's party is near. This year we have to be more careful than ever because of the fire risk associated with the use of firecrackers, rockets and bonfires.

• La Garriga is a municipality declared at high risk of forest fire and for this reason some restrictions have been established. Therefore, residents are asked to comply with the following regulations:
• Bonfires, the launching of rockets, flying firecrackers, category III fountains and balloons are prohibited anywhere in the municipality of La Garriga until September 15 (end of the high fire risk period).

From the City Council we ask you to be responsible and to follow at all times the advice for the celebration of parties promoted by the Department of the Interior of the Generalitat de Catalunya and to comply at all times with the requirements that the Local Police may make of you.

We need your collaboration, solidarity and responsibility so that the measures mentioned above are fully effective.
