The motorhome area of Can Terrers has been closed after suffering acts of vandalism to force access to the water.

The entry of the Garriga into emergency phase 1 of the drought alert in the Ter - Llobregat basin, implies having to comply with the extraordinary and urgent measures to restrict water consumption.

Specifically, for the motorhome area of Can Terrers, it means the limitation of water consumption either to fill the tanks of the motorhomes or also due to the express prohibition of using potable water for cleaning vehicles

The Garriga City Council established a series of measures which, once applied, received vandal attacks within a few hours. Due to the impossibility of being able to guarantee service to the area, the temporary decision has been taken to close the motorhome area.

On the part of the City Council, actions to improve the control of the space are being studied.
