The Garriga de secà is a mosaic of landscapes whose richness lies in its diversity
If some time ago we had looked at the Garriga from a bird's eye view, we would surely have seen in the Congost river and its green spot (the orchards and irrigated lands) an effect similar to what the Nile and its surroundings do when we look at a photo of Egypt: Most of the Garriga was yellow and brown. And the Garriga is, above all, a dry land.
However, if, while pretending to be birds, we had made a level and careful flight, we would also have seen that it was not quite like that, that between the yellow and the brown there was also green and even blue. And that the fields parched by the sun had more life and more diversity than any other place in the town.
