Nature and rural life in the Garriga

La Garriga is surrounded by nature and very diverse landscapes, on all sides. From the extensive irrigated areas of the Pla de Llerona, passing through the mosaics of fields and forests to the east, towards Samalús, and to the west, towards l'Ametlla, through the mountainous slopes of Puiggraciós, Cingles de Bertí and Montseny, in the north , and by the riverside landscape, which crosses the whole town following the river Congost.

A fantastic environment that can be discovered by walking - taking one of the itineraries to rediscover the rural Garriga -, walking for a few hours - following one of the signposted nature trails -, or taking a good walk - for example taking the Petit Recorregut Garriguenc -.

Montseny, Reserva de la Biosphere is a mosaic of Mediterranean and Central European landscapes located next to large metropolitan conurbations.
