Fira de la botifarra 2026

You can now consult the program of the 14th Botifarra Fair, with family proposals, tastings, guided tours, sports activities and the fairground with 40 stalls.

On February 28 and March 1, La Garriga hosts the 14th edition of the Botifarra Fair, the event that will once again highlight local food crafts and the star product of the municipality.

Once again, the fair will feature the ButiTast (gastronomic area), the ButiAula (tastings) and the ButiKids (children's and family activities). The guided itineraries led by the Visitor Center will also be repeated.

As a novelty, in the sports section, on Saturday there will be a circular route of about 36 km by gravel bike, starting at the start of the Passeig, organized by the Club Ciclista La Garriga.

And on Sunday, the Club Excursionista Garriguenc invites us to do the Caminada de la Botifarra, a circular route of about 8 km.

Fairground

Once again, the fairground, which will have 40 stalls, will offer top quality local artisan products. Sausages, cheeses, honey, ratafia, dried fruit and praline, beers, preserves, jams, baked goods and pastries, all artisan and local.

Without forgetting the artisanal sausages from the cansaladerias of La Garriga, which will present the new products created for the fair.

Consolidation of the model

In the presentation of the 14th edition of the Botifarra Fair, held this Wednesday at Can Raspall, the mayor, Meritxell Budó, recalled that the event highlights a traditional craft, but one that is constantly evolving.

She also explained that citizens will be able to discover the “boti recipes”, a novelty that aims to demonstrate that elaborate and innovative cuisine can be made with this product as a base. These are 6 recipes that can be accessed through QR codes that will be found on the fair's website and in a leaflet.

As explained by the councilor for Economic Promotion, Álex Valiente, this year the figure of 25,000 visitors is expected to be consolidated, with the corresponding economic return for both the cansaladerias and the rest of the shops and restaurants in La Garriga.
