From October 10 to 12, La Garriga celebrates the 14th edition of the Modernist Days, an event that will take us back to the beginning of the 20th century.

Once again, you can discover and delve into the municipality's modernist past, through performances, talks, thermal circuits, theatrical scenes, the craft fair, street activities, dinner at the Passeig del 1900, the tented dance, the Forest Festivals or the modernist parade.

From September 19 to 21, the pedestrian island will be expanded and closed to traffic and on Sunday there will be a popular pedal ride, which will pass through a new section of shared path for pedestrians and cyclists on the Congost promenade.

Once again, La Garriga joins the European Mobility Week, an event that aims to promote more sustainable, safe and healthy mobility habits.

Under the title "How to interpret Heritage for all people", this year's training aims to offer an introduction to the fields of accessibility and disability.

On October 23 and 24, a new edition of the Heritage Interpretation Course will take place at Can Luna, which is promoted by the Heritage Area of ​​La Garriga City Council.

The Tourism Service of the Regional Council has launched a survey aimed at the citizens of the Vallès Oriental to collect their opinion on tourism in the region.

Under the title "How do you see tourism in the Vallès Oriental?", the objective is to better understand how this activity is perceived at the local level and how it can contribute to a sustainable tourism model that is respectful of the territory and the people who live there.

La Garriga will be one of the venues for the first edition of this competition to highlight the fork breakfast.

Between the months of August and September, the first edition of the Pork and Fork League will take place, a fork breakfast championship that aims to promote this meal as a gastronomic heritage.
